Welcome and congratulations on your new appliance. We are so happy and grateful that you choose us!

 

Your choice in purchasing from us, helps reinvest in the community while saving you the most money.

We would like to take a moment to remind you about the warranties provided. Below you will find the two different types of warranties that we offer. Please refer to the manufactures webpage for installation and operational questions.

All our Overstock and Scratch and Dent appliances are sold to us with manufacturer warranty. So when you get your appliance home make sure you register your appliance with the manufacturer. They will ask for the model number and serial number, so be sure to have them ready!

Certified Pre Owned appliances have either a 1 year warranty or a 90 Day warranty marked on your contract.  We cover parts and labor that is done directly through our store. See below for full warranty details.

Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions
 

Within 1 year or 90 Days (depending on which you purchased) of PURCHASE Mid-City Appliances will repair an appliance due to failure of a PART. Cosmetic damage is not covered as well as damage due to loading, delivery, handling, installation, rodent, insects, animal damage or acts of God.

 

  1. Warranty covers parts and labor that is done directly through us for 1 year or 90 Days (depending on which you purchased)

  2. Warranty is only valid within 1 year or 90 Days (depending on which you purchased) of Sale date. NO EXCEPTIONS

  3. Warranty does not cover damage due to human error, loading, delivery, handling, installation, rodent, insects, animal damage or acts of God. 

  4. Warranty does not cover damage due to improper use of appliances.

  5. Warranty does not cover damage due to use of old cords, water supply lines and other appliances accessories. 

  6. Warranty terms require the purchase of a new cord, water supply lines and other accessories. 

  7. Warranty does not cover in-home service. Appliances must be brought back in for repairs.

  8. Warranty does not cover glass, fridge bins,other cosmetic parts or damages. 

  9. Customers are responsible for bringing the appliances back to Mid-City Appliances.

  10. No refunds, Exchanges if appliances are unrepairable and approved by Mid-City Appliances.

  11. Warranty max liability is the purchase price. Warranty does not cover food waste or damages to property. 

  12.  Customers must have their copy of the receipt to have coverage.

  13.  REFRIGERATORS SHOULD NOT BE LAID DOWN. IF YOU DO LAY A FRIDGE DOWN IT VOIDS ANY WARRANTY PROVIDED. 

 

To HOLD an appliance it must be paid in full. We will hold an appliance for up to 7 days for the customer to arrange pickup. After 7 days there will be a $20 per day per appliance charge for holding any purchased appliance. If this holding charge reaches the purchase price of the appliance the appliance will be relisted and sold. The Customer will NOT be refunded. 

 

Free Appliance Recycling is always available. Please drop off your old appliances near the semi loading dock on the south east corner of the building. We are EPA and DNR licensed to remove the refrigerant ‘Freon’. There is no charge to you! TVs, Computers, and other electronics $20 fee as we are not set up for proper disposal, and most transfer to a proper recycling location.
